Andy Nixon
Andy is a self-taught artist based in Davison. As a Michigan native, he finds inspiration for his art while exploring the northern Michigan forests or near his home.
His goal with any drawing or painting is to bring the viewer into the calming, unique scenery of Michigan and the outdoors. Andy specializes in ink & wash (watercolor) paintings, but has recently dived into oil painting. His works are completed both en plein air, and in his home studio.
When he’s not painting, Andy is an avid pilot and enjoys spending time with his wife Lindsay, son Charles, and the family hound dogs.
Commissioned paintings are available upon request. All originals come with a certificate of authenticity.
